Tagaytay... détente

It has always been so peachy to be in Tagaytay once in a while, not only of its vicinity but for its cool temperature where one can enjoy complete serenity.

If we're not in Baguio then definitely we're in Tagaytay.

Tagaytay City is the most popular summer destination because of its cool ambiance and proximity to the Metro. Just 2 hours away from Manila, you can easily access it either via SLEX or Coastal Road and the Aguinaldo Highway.Situated in the province of Cavite at 2100 ft above sea level, no wonder Tagaytay City has been tagged as the  second summer capital of the Philippines.

First on the list, The Picnic Grove... a lot of outdoor activities can be done here, but a nice relaxation is all we need. Just enjoying the beauty of the Lake, Taal Lake that is... a lake within an island within a lake, cool huh?

If you are tired and needs total pampering, then you can go straight to T House which is really accessible, located just beside Ina ng Laging Saklolo at Calamba Road. T House is derived from the word tranquility... from the word itself one can be apeace at this great hideaway.

With its array of good food around the city you can never be famished.. when your taste buds craves for something, then definitely Tagaytay City  has so much to offer. There's Viewsite Restaurant and Cliffhouse's Buon Giorno +++++ just to name a few, but for me  a good trip to Tagaytay is something where you bring your own food and have your picnic @ the Grove........ super love it! then you get to enjoy the great view of Taal Lake....... relaxation guaranteed!
