Going Back to be Nocturnal & Missing the Yorkie

        I missed every shift's coffee so much!!! But this doesn't mean that I missed work... Argh!!!

While trying to concentrate on my work last night, my thoughts was always with our playful Yorkie.. He was left all by himself at our blissful crib. I was really worried sick that he might not get through the night (Drama!) He used to just Barf away whenever he needed some thing... So technically, we're not able to rescue his needs... like water maybe or his nocturnal poo as well... I missed the doggie so badly that I encouraged her to go home right away without rendering our sched Overtime anymore...

He's simply adorable!!!

     I tried to cast away the thought of missing the yorkie last night (honestly, I was wayOverReacting... MSoree) I frequented myself to the vendo machine to get more coffee ( a usual thingie that I do during shift, get out of the floor... walk around and get some 2 fills of coffee.. right away!) And what a wonderful way to start my week after being confined for almost a week in our blissful crib...we got a sweet treat from Mr. McDonald's!!! Despite being really full having eaten my homemade Chicken Sandwich... I did not say no McDonald's deep fried treat and their Chocolate Sundae, well who would? Sore Throat did not stop me at all to indulge to my sweet favorite!!!

     Back to reality, back to work... back to being nocturnal. Hopefully I'll get through. Anyway, it'll be just 3 days and off I head to another 2 days off!!!

I'm a little bit under the weather....

 A-chooooooo!!!

      It all started last Friday Night... I knew I'll be down with colds. My friend and colleague who's down with colds, just had water therapy for a week now and still not alleviated.  I think i got it from her. Never realized that it would be this serious!!! And when I meant serious... it was! it really was!!!

       On our way to work last Tuesday... I was already teary eyed due to this irritating colds and terrible headache that caused me to be early out from work. Aaaargggghhhh!!! 30 minutes to be exact on the floor and I was hitting mr. snooze right away and just right inside my workplace!!! I did not bother going home or heading the Sleeping Quarters because it was really hard to walk, so I just decided to sleep right away once I provided my Clinic Pass to SUP. 

      24 hours after, I tried getting back to work... but really it was such a pain in the ass to try talking and talking for hours!!! Went back down to Clinic and unfortunately, the DOC was not IN. But then I made one possible way to make an excuse plus good thing SUP's a Nursing Grad... understood my situation and decided to just let me out of the ques. Thank God!!!

        This is enough I need to see a doctor seriously this time... Got MEdicard right? So, why not utilize it? Normally, we would just go to a one stop clinic like HEALTHWAY in SM The Block, but it is no longer accredited by our Health Provider so we decided to go to The Medical City in Trinoma which is practically near. But then Our company who's recognized as The First ever BPO in the Philippines who just celebrated its 15th year is simply not accredited here YET!!! OK Fine, HUMANA was to the rescue of course which was just a few walks away from Trinoma. It's just that we needed to cross the polluted EDSA via overpass!!! WHATEVER!

    

      NO ENT but there was Family Medicine Doctor... it's better to have this checked. Was diagnosed with an ACUTE Respiratory Tract Infection, provided with meds but was only required to REST ONE DAY!!! The hell with you DOCTOR WHOEVER you ARE!

down with severe upper respiratory tract infection, took a night off and rest with medications... argh! hate it! despise it much!

     So, another 24 hours passed and still I wasn't feeling OK!!! I think I've worsened!!! My eyes were all swollen and this time I got high temp!!! Need to call in sick again... "OMD I'm sorreee but I can't report to work tonight because of this and that......"

      Another 2 night passed and I think I'm missing work so much!!! 

    

      Saturday morning,  I opted myself to go St. Luke's Medical Center... I needed someone who'll take my health fervently without any doubts despite obvious signs!!!  I was given Dra. Edith Yap-Legaspi and she was kind of shocked that I was just given a day off. According to her, I badly needed a rest!!! Just continue with my meds and rest till I get better...

    Was it 14 or 13 years since I last saw that pretty young gal in white tees? Well, shall I say that it only took one Angela ( whose name meant of course heaven sent) to reunite the total gurl power of the clan...

    She was only around 7 years old perhaps when we all last saw her and look at her now... God, time flies so fast! Gela, you're no longer a baby nor a miss, you're candidly a MRS now... ( naunahan mo pa lahat ng mga ate mo! ツ ... ako hindi ata? technically hindi... ) 

                  I missed the days!!! And I'm really really happy that we had one precious night together...

 
                            .... But this doesn't end on this night? ayt? We'll have one BIG one, definitely!!!  ON SEPTEMBER 1st... it'll be MASSIVE!!!

          We're on our way home, We were on the road for 2 hours and we were still trying to find the   best route to stray the flooded areas. But we're not lucky, really.

Been Procrastinating about getting a pup since we lost Jersey back in 2007 and Donna died after 16 years of her not so fruitful existence in 2010 … let’s just say that we tend to be attached that much… but longing really finds it way somehow....

We got a new pup yesterday at BIORESEARCH… it was one spontaneous decision. We just planned to check and not buy one yet but this cute Lil fellow is just simply adorable and hard to resist… He just won our ♥.

Surviving everyday travel to and from ✈

     

          Due to oil price hike, we wanted to be a bit rational for a while...We decided to take advantage of the MRT on our way to work this time. Luckily, our request for schedule change was granted a week before my birthday... We've been utilizing Rio (the name I baptized to our Baby Car after my close friend named her car as "MIO") for over 2 years since we we're on a 3AM shift. Consider commuting at the wee hours of the morning en route to work was really a dilemma for us. 2 years passed and we simply noticed that most of our salary and even our savings was going towards RIO... from Gas Consumption and car maintenance... it was truly an excess baggage, especially when frugality strikes for people like us... you'll just have to consider so many things.. 1 month after... we survived all the hustle and bustle of commuting thru jeepney, MRT and the Bus. And not to mention my most awaited...the blissful walking we did everyday, I guess it was really quite an exercise after  having been idle for over 2 years.  I loev walking a lot. In fact I embraced short walks even the long ones... it gave me the opportunity to warm up despite strict work hour schedule.

       Having RIO, using it traveling back and forth to your workplace need not require us a lot of walking. So there was like less work on our body system... And I have to say, it really was a great factor for weight gain So, I guess, we just badly needed some movement here.

         Thanks so much for that great change!!! I'm Loeving every moment of it!!! What a leap....
